The Apollo Theater Studio is a 50-seat space that opened in 2005. Located just steps from the main stage,( in the space formerly occupied by the popular Act One Book Store), The Apollo Studio offers opportunities for smaller scale, in-house and rental productions, as well as space for classes and rehearsals. The Apollo Studio can offer black box intimacy while providing the Apollo’s professional, full-service, theater support in one of Chicago’s most popular neighborhoods.

| Hours Of Operation |
The Apollo Theater Studio is available for rental 7 days a week. Ideally rentals are for evening and weekend hours. Prime hours are Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm or 8pm. There are late night hours available on Friday and Saturday nights at 10:30pm |
| Rental Policy |
The renting party is responsible for the license fee, providing proof of insurance on the space, and a stage manager or responsible party who must be trained by the Apollo Theater technical director before using the space. |
| Cancellation Policy |
After a security deposit has been paid for the use of the space, should the renting party cancel, they lose the security deposit. Further penalties are defined in Apollo Theater Studio license agreements |
